According to the epidemiological report of the Departmental Health Directorate (DDS), in the period from 08/28/2022 to 09/03/2022, 2,026 new cases and 10 deaths with a positive result for COVID-19 were detected in the country.
From the start of the pandemic to 09/03/2022 there are 981,186 cases and 7,455 deaths with a positive result for COVID-19. The active cases until 09/03/2022 are 1,737.
During the week, a total of 18,111 tests were carried out and the percentage of positive cases was 11.2%. As of 09/03/2022 there are 2.5% of ICU beds occupied by COVID-19.
To date, 5 people are hospitalized with COVID-19 positives in the department: 3 in a private provider room and 2 in a public provider room.
