Brenda Elizabeth Uliarte, partner of Fernando Sabag Montiel, will be investigated this afternoon by the Federal Justice, as accused of having participated in the attack against the vice president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner.
The young woman who has been detained since last Sunday night, remains in the Villa Lugano police headquarters, after Judge María Eugenia Capuchetti, who is handling the case of the attack against the former president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchnerso ordered.
Although Uliarte had declared on Friday (one day after the attack) that he had not seen Sabag for several days, videos from security cameras show that she was a few meters from her partner on Thursday night in the Recoleta neighborhood, where resides Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner.
Consequently, The 23-year-old will be questioned this Tuesday between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. in the courts of Comodoro Pygiven that the judge has a period of 48 hours to take an investigation after the arrest.
Uliarte will be defended by Gustavo Kollman and could, like her boyfriend, refrain from testifying and remain silent, because, according to reports, there would be more evidence against her that would incriminate her with the attack.
Meanwhile, the authorities carry out the expertise of the woman’s cell phone, where key pieces of the investigation could be found, since Sabag’s cell phone was formatted and information would have been lost.
Likewise, the judge and the prosecutor Carlos Rívolo are seeking new evidence to determine whether or not there are other people involved in the attack, since, in the last few hours, testimonies from people close to Sabag have assured that he did not act alone.
How the investigation progresses
In the last hours, four friends of the couple voluntarily appeared in court and testified as witnesses; In addition, they contributed their phones to the investigation so that they can be analyzed by the justice system.
Although the secrecy of the judicial case was decreed, it was learned that, in the last hours, the judge requested the telephone numbers of all the custodians of the vice president to analyze new information.
