In Guárico, the deployment of operation Thunder III continues, which began last Thursday in Valle de la Pascua, Tucupido and Zaraza. But in the last hours there were procedures in other municipalities of the plains entity such as Francisco de Miranda (Calabozo), where they captured four members of the Tren del Llano criminal organization, according to reports.
The detainees are identified as Luis Alberto Landaeta Landaeta (El Tin), José Miguel Porte López, Marco Antonio Díaz Hurtado (El Gordo) and Lubil José Rodríguez Hernández (Lubil).
These people were detained in the Paso El Caballo sector of the aforementioned Guariqueño municipality, in response to a complaint for the crime of extortion, which the victims filed with the National Anti-extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas).
The detainees were found with an Indumil Llama brand revolver, caliber .38, twelve 9mm cartridges, two 12-gauge shotguns (Topper 098 and Baikal 18EM-M), six 12-gauge cartridges, a pistol charger, a GL-302 tear gas device. CS and a telephone team.
The subjects were handed over to the Public Ministry where they are prosecuted for the crimes of extortion and illicit possession of a firearm, among others.
The last balance of the Thunder III operation indicates that there are 14 members of the Tren del Llano killed in Valle de la Pascua, Tucupido and Zaraza. While 180 criminals were captured, including 65 for having issued an arrest warrant, 14 were already requested and six possessed firearms, according to police sources.
