“Universities need to be focused on offering courses based on what the market requires. Sometimes, we have courses offered without the market having this demand. Therefore, it is important for us to know, in each region, what the market wants”, said the candidate in a broadcast on social networks.

Thronicke also defended a “social function” of theses or monographs defended by students financed with public grants. “All the scholarship that the state gives has to have a return to the state itself”, she said. “What is the topic [da dissertação]? What is the social function of this study? Everything has a social function: the property, the company. Why is the state going to invest in you, what are you giving back?”, he asked.

This Monday, Thronicke campaigned in São Paulo. The candidate’s agenda included interviews for radio Trianon, IstoÉ magazine, Portal Jovem Pan, portal Gazeta do Povo, radio Capital, in Cuiabá, and a live on social networks.
