After the victory of Rejection over Approval in the constitutional plebiscite, the President of the Republic, Gabriel BoricThrough a national network, I urge all political parties to hold meetings to seek a new constitutional path for the country. At first there was talk of a refusal by Chile Vamos, but the president of Renovación Nacional (RN), Francisco Chahuanassured that his conglomerate will visit La Moneda Palace this Tuesday to meet with the President.
This Monday the ruling parties expressed their availability with all the political parties to reach a great national agreement in search of initiating a new constituent process, after holding the enlarged political committee in the Government Palace.

It should be noted that President Boric urged all the country’s political parties, from the ruling party to the opposition, to a meeting this Monday, but the latter declined the invitation, arguing that first “the house must be put in order.”
However, Senator Chahuán, in conversation with Thirdaffirmed that they will attend La Moneda this Tuesday to meet with the President, who on Monday not only met with the ruling parties, but also with the Presidents of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputiesas well as with representatives of the municipalities and regional governors.
About the meeting, Chahuán indicated: “Tomorrow we are going to meet with President Boric and that continues because we have a responsibility with Chile, with the Chileans who voted massively yesterday and who want our Constitution to be a pact of coexistence and a common house for all and, therefore, we are going to attend”.
It should be noted that the president of the UDI, Javier Macaya, was the one who pointed out yesterday the decline of the conglomerate to meet with the President. Today, Macaya himself described his words as a “snub”, adding that he requested an agreement between all parties to make a new Constitution before September 11, according to T13, Chahuán does not share this request.
“Allow me to make a subtle difference with the president of the UDI (…) committing dates to fine-tune the bases of an agreement, I want to tell him that the largest party in Chile is going to take the necessary time, prudently, to listen to all the bases (…) we have to make sure that yesterday’s result is settled,” said the president of Renovación Nacional.
