“We attack criminal activity in an integral way and we will continue to do so. We know the special dynamics that we have in the south of Tolima, we know the information and we are alerting our units. We will continue to attack these dissidents so that they do not gain strength in this part of the territory,” said Colonel Néstor Raúl Cepeda, commander of the Tolima Police.
Indeed, in the southern part of the department, the authorities have identified the presence of two organizations with an impact on several municipalities, so the institution has redoubled efforts to guarantee public order.
“It is important to mention that we have two substructures, the Ismael Ruiz, with criminal activities. in the municipalities of Rioblanco, Ataco and Planadas, while the Alfonso Cano especially with Planadas with related crimes such as extortion, homicide and we have given them forceful blows,” Colonel Cepeda said.
