Prosecutor's Office includes Aníbal Torres and Félix Chero in investigation for criminal organization

The Public Ministry included the president of the Council of Ministers, and the Minister of Justice and Human Rights, in the investigation that is being carried out by the alleged criminal organization that President Pedro Castillo would lead.

These are two new ministers who join the case investigated by the special team against the corruption of power, for this case the holder of the Transport and Communications portfolio is already being investigated.

Through social networks, the Public Ministry made its official announcement: “The National Prosecutor decided to include the President of the Council of Ministers, Aníbal Torres, in his capacity as former Minister of Justice, and the current holder of that portfolio, Félix Chero, in the preliminary investigation for the crime of Criminal Organization”.

“In this way, the preliminary investigation corresponding to fiscal file No. 124-2022 is expanded, in which the President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, has been investigated for Personal Cover-up and Criminal Organization,” he added.
