La Moncloa says it did not ask for expertise from Salamanca

Juan Pérez Munguía / La Paz

In a second response to a request for a document submission by MPs from the Popular Party (PP), the Government of Spain indicated that the Salamanca expertise was not carried out at the request of any agency of its administration.

In September, the deputies of PP Valentina Martínez, Pablo Hispán and Belén Hoyo made a request to find out if the Spanish administration requested or disbursed a budget to carry out the expertise carried out by the Deep Tech Lab Research Group of Bisite, of the Foundation General of the University of Salamanca.

Given this, the response of Pedro Sánchez’s management, to which Página Siete agreed, was: “In relation to the information concerned, it should be noted that, as stated in Organic Law 6/2001, of December 21, of Universities, these have their own autonomy for their management and organization. The Ministry of Universities does not have any report in the required terms ”.

In September, the government of Spain, in reply to a parliamentary question, dismissed the Salamanca analysis and indicated that it did not address aspects of the audit by the Organization of American States on the fraud case. The Prosecutor’s Office used the expertise of Salamanca to close that case.
