Invernizzi was arrested in the framework of Operation India, in which 85 kilos of base paste were seized

Pablo Pedro Invernizzi, a drug trafficker who was arrested as part of the Indian Operationin which 85 kilos of base paste were seized in Soriano, took his own life early this Sunday in his cell at the Unit 1 Admission, Diagnosis and Referral Center, informed The Observer Juan Romero, director of the Communications Unit of the Ministry of the Interior.
Santiago González, director of Coexistence of the ministry, confirmed to The Observer that Invernizzi was alone in his cell and that he killed himself “with a piece of blanket”.
Ministry investigations determined that Invernizzi was linked to drug trafficker Sebastián Marset, in the transfer and sale of drugs.
Invernizzi was arrested in the framework of an operation in which an organization linked to drug trafficking was disrupted when they tried to enter the country with drugs from Argentina. In that case he was accused as “criminally responsible author of the continued crime of illicit trafficking in prohibited narcotic substances in the modalities of import, negotiation and transport, as author.”
