Sheinbaum: AMLO delivered the Fourth Section of Chapultepec to the people of CDMX

The president pointed out that the space where weapons were manufactured in the 19th century was going to be privatized during the government of Enrique Peña Nieto to turn it into a new Santa Fe.

“The previous government, that of Peña, wanted to privatize it, they wanted to build another Santa Fe in that place. he wanted the Army to leave and build another Santa Fe.

“He gave another space to the Army outside the city and this space was given to the inhabitants of the city as the Fourth Section of the Bosque de Chapultepec,” Sheinbaum commented on President López Obrador.

The capital’s president took the opportunity to show off the social programs created during the Obrador administration.

“Not only the pension for the elderly, people with disabilities, support for young people, Youth Building the Future, but also this great project of Chapultepec Nature and Culture,” he said.

In the company of Alejandra Frausto, Secretary of Federal Culture, he indicated that the project by the artist Gabriel Orozco is made up of 11 cultural nodes in the four sections of the Chapultepec Forest and will be connected by a cable car from the Metro Constituyentes to the town of Santa Faith.

“The Bosque de Chapultepec will never be privatized, it will always be a free public space for everyone,” Sheinbaum said.
