Cuba maintains less than 200 people confirmed active to COVID-19, after a day in which 45 new positives were reported, in accordance with the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).
At the close of this Saturday, 294 people were hospitalized for the disease, 187 of them confirmed and another 107 suspected. On the day there were no deaths from COVID-19.
In addition, 46 medical discharges were granted, and only one patient is reported in serious condition in intensive care rooms.
The 45 cases of the day were the result of 2,030 samples analyzed, and of the total number of new patients, 34 are contacts of already confirmed cases, two had their source of infection abroad, in nine people the origin of the contagion was not specified and only two cases were asymptomatic, reports the MINSAP.

By sex, of the newly diagnosed, 27 are women and 18 men, while by age groups the cases are distributed as: under 20 years of age (35), from 20 to 39 years of age (5), from 40 to 59 years of age ( 0) and 60 years and over (5).
By provinces, Pinar del Río, Mayabeque, Villa Clara and the special municipality of Isla de la Juventud did not report positive cases, while Holguín was the only territory with two numbers of patients with 10 cases.
Finally, the MINSAP report indicates that the two people evacuated and another 57 returned to their countries since the start of the pandemic remain.
