Minsa seized expired food in places of sanitary interest in Vía Argentina

An operation to verify and comply with sanitary measures was carried out by the Public Health team of the Metropolitan region at places of sanitary interest in the Via Argentina area.

During the tour, the health inspectors visited 22 locations including restaurants, beauty salons, barbershops, grocery stores, tattoo parlors and bakeries where they were guided on issues of health permits, obtaining operator’s cards, food handlers and inspection records.

Likewise, expired food products were seized, without sanitary registration and without labels, for which they made the pertinent citations, as well as the recommendations and the call for attention to correct their faults.

The regional health authorities reiterate to the merchants and legal representatives that they carry out the health procedures to avoid being sanctioned, to the population to maintain surveillance of the food products that have their registration labels and expiration dates.

The Ministry of Health will continue with the operations of verification and compliance with the sanitary measures, for which they ask the merchants to allow the Public Health team to carry out the inspections.
