Minister of Education, Rosendo Serna, will present his resignation from Together for Peru “tomorrow”

After swearing in office on Tuesday 28, the new Minister of Education, Rosendo Serna, announced that “tomorrow” he will present his resignation as a member of the party Together for Peru (JPP).

In statements to journalists, he recalled that he enrolled in said political group in September 2020 to run for Congress, but since he was not included in the final list of candidates, his participation remained there.

“I was going to be a pre-candidate (for the current Congress) in the area, but it turns out that there were no internal elections or anything because here in Lima the candidates prevailed and my participation remained there”, he expressed.

“My registration is from the first days of September (2020) and it is an anecdotal situation because my professional activity means that all the time I have dedicated to education. Tomorrow I am going to propose my resignation because I believe that I would have to return to my previous condition “he added.
