The Volunteer Fire Department of Asunción will carry out its gastronomic fair “Tata Mbogueha Fest” tomorrow, Sunday. The event will have 45 stands that will offer the best dishes to delight the most demanding palates and at the same time raise funds to pay for the purchase of two new mobiles.
A cold weekend is forecast and nothing is more tedious than cooking during this type of day. A very good option (besides solidarity) is “Tata Mbogueha Fest” which will allow you to enjoy traditional Paraguayan dishes and many other foods that feel so good in this last stretch of the winter season.
The Plaza de las Américas The Plaza de las Américas, located on Avda. José de San Martín and Guido Spano, will host this gastronomic festival that will feature important musical groups and artistic acts, the start is scheduled for 11:00.
Tickets cost G. 55,000 by purchasing them at Ticketea while at the gates it will be G. 50,000.
Children under 5 years old enter free and from 6 to 11 years old tickets cost G. 30,000. Those 12 years and older must pay G. 55,000.
“We want to raise US$30,000 in order to bring two mobiles that were purchased by the United States and we need to pay for the transportation to our country. Part of this amount will also be used for the acquisition of some equipment that must be adapted to trucks,” said Jesús Ortellado, in charge of marketing and communication.
DISHES AND ACTIVITY
Paying the entrance, people will have access to taste all the options offered by the more than 40 stands present. Some of the dishes are: mandi’o chyryry, gnocchi, asadito, pork leg, kure chyryry, hamburgers, choripán, road stew, feijoada, minced meat, empanaditas, shredded vacuum, noodles, chicken roast, Paraguayan soup, hodgepodge , mbeju, pizzas, pork ribs, mandi’o cake.
Drinks and desserts will also be for sale at an additional cost.
When it comes to entertainment, some of the invited artists are: Bohemia Urbana, Javier Zacher de Salamandra, Asunción Blues, Conexión, Barbarock among others.
