The first of the agreements signed with the Municipality of Flores refers to the expansion of the infrastructure of the Electric Route of UTE, with new points for recharging electric vehicles. The second of the agreements is intended to regulate the complementation between both institutions for the removal, transfer or replacement of electrical installations in public use areas of the department.
President Emaldi highlighted the importance of continuing to work to expand UTE’s Electric Route and continue advancing in decarbonization policies, promoting electromobility. While the mayor Fernando Echeverría valued “the opening of UTE towards the interior of the country and the initiative to establish these collaboration agreements between the institutions, which will allow progress towards long-awaited dreams, such as the electric urban bus.”
Subsequently, the delegation made up of the entire UTE Board of Directors together with local authorities, arrived in the Ribot neighborhood of Trinidad, for the inauguration of electrification works carried out by UTE, where Mides and neighbors also participated, within the framework of the Social Inclusion Program . In this opportunity, 70 families benefit, including 65 children, who received Social Inclusion School Kits, and are included in the UTE Social Bonus. The works carried out also improve the electrical infrastructure of school No. 4 in Trinidad.
Emaldi said that “the objective of UTE is to bring electric power service to all homes in the country with equal conditions of quality and safety.” “Study and enjoy electricity efficiently with your families and friends. We do this for you: you are the future generations of our country,” Emaldi told the children present at the scene.
