A total of 37 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday were reported by the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) in its usual part on the evolution of the disease on the Island.
The Minsap indicated that 1,902 samples were studied this Thursday. Of the patients with the disease, 27 were contacts of confirmed cases and in 9 the source of the infection could not be specified. One case was imported.
Currently, 188 patients with coronavirus are hospitalized, of which 187 have a favorable clinical evolution. One patient is in serious condition. On the day there were 46 medical discharges.
The province with the highest reported incidence of Covid-19 is Holguín, with 11 cases, followed by Camagüey with 9. Havana confirmed only 2 people with the disease.
Cuba already accumulates 1 million 110 thousand 668 patients with coronavirus, of which 8 thousand 530 have died. On the last day, no deaths from Covid-19 were reported.
