Dimas Aliaga Castro, a candidate for the region for the “ball” movement, returned to the electoral race after he was excluded for not declaring a sentence for generic falsehood. The National Elections Jury (JNE) has saved him arguing that the exclusion was made after the deadline. Yesterday the candidate offered a press conference.

The resolution that gives him back the dream of being a regional governor provides for the return of the file so that copies of the pertinent records can be sent to the Public Prosecutor’s Office if a crime is found in the reason for his exclusion.
It should be remembered that Dimas Aliaga was sentenced in July of this year to 2 years and 8 months of imprisonment in the suspended mode for the crime of generic falsehood. Aliaga should have reported this sentence to the Special Electoral Jury, but he did not do so, which is why his sentence proceeded.
Yesterday at a press conference the leader of Caminemos Juntos por Junín spoke: “We have never been out of the campaign as political rivals have wanted the population to believe, I thank the population that has always maintained its support. We have never been out of the race because the decision that I have many times described as arbitrary was appealed, ”he said.
As soon as the decision of the JNE was known in Lima, the Caminemos Juntos team convened a press conference at its local supporter in the center of Huancayo.

Zósimo minimizes “attacks”
Through Resolution No. 01977-2022-JEE-HCYO/JNE, the Huancayo Special Electoral Jury (JEE), resolved to register and publish the formula for candidates for the regional government of the Sierra y Selva Contigo Junín Regional Movement, with which which Zósimo Cárdena Muje continues in the race and was enabled to participate in the 2022 Regional Elections.
“We remain firm and stronger thanks to the support of our brothers and sisters who join the only hope for change. Desperate attempts to get us out of the race are falling due to lack of arguments,” said Cárdenas.
The leader of Sierra y Selva Contigo Junín minimized the questions of his contenders and assured that he will not fall for the provocations of any party or political movement, and that he is focused on disseminating his proposals and government plan throughout the region. “There is nothing to answer. We are busy visiting the provinces and districts”, he indicated.
