During the month of August, the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security (MTESS), through the Directorate of Labor, carried out 82 intermediations in which economic agreements were reached that facilitated a total payment of 1,858,301,102 guaraníes. The complaints were made in the State portfolio for reasons of non-compliance with various benefits stipulated in the labor code.
Some of the complaints made by the workers correspond to unjustified dismissal, non-compliance with social security regulations, non-payment of overtime and a surcharge of 30% of salary for night work, among others.
On the other hand, in terms of labor advice, the State portfolio received a total of 494 complaints, provided labor guidance to 332 people, answered 889 queries from workers and employers, and made 1,044 salary calculations.
It is worth mentioning that the affected workers can appeal to the Department of Mediation of Individual Conflicts, dependent on the Department of Labor of the State portfolio, in the Settlements area, in order to obtain the calculation of their accrued assets and social benefits for dismissal, resignation or justified withdrawal or other concepts. ATTENTION
Through the General Directorate for the Promotion of Working Women, which also carried out 17 intermediations, a total payment of 75,955,000 guaraníes was achieved, in addition, 172 assessments and 54 liquidations were carried out.
