The Legislature of La Rioja approved the transfer to the Constitutional Affairs Commission of the request for the dismissal of deputy Martín Menem, due to statements on Twitter where he doubted the veracity of the attack on Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.
The request for dismissal was presented by the Union of Workers of the Popular Economy (UTEP), in the session called by the deputies of the Front of All to repudiate the attack on Cristina Kirchner.
This happened after the repudiation of political leaders of the Front of All and of different Rioja social organizations for the statements, considered offensive of Menem, belonging to Javier Milei’s party, in the province.
Martin Menem he said verbatim about Kirchnerism in a tweetthat “It costs them nothing to try to fool us again. They were, are and will be as long as we continue to allow it. Paper is little”.
He also expressed that “personally I have a hard time believing Kirchnerism because on numerous occasions they have failed to tell the truth. However, I repudiate any act of violence in any place and at any time.”
“If the Justice were to prove that what happened was an attack, that the full weight of the law falls on those responsible “, finally highlighted Martín Menem.

The provincial deputy of the FdT Teresita Madera, among other leaders, he stated in this regard that “with these statements more hatred and doubt are contributed, he speaks of an absolute misconduct of a member of the Chamber of Deputies. I absolutely repudiate his statements because at this time we must provide peace and tranquility.
