Carlos Maldonado after suspension of militancy: says that the Radical Party “decided to become Stalinist” and that the measure “is contrary” to the community

The former president of the Radical Party (PR) Carlos Maldonado He responded to the community after he suspended his militancy. This, due to Maldonado’s support for Rejection -option contrary to the one decided by the party’s General Council- in view of the September 4 plebiscite.

“The party decided to become a little Stalinist very late in its history,” said the former Justice Minister in conversation with Radio Bio Bio.

In the event that the Approval won, Maldonado stated that he “would be very sorry” for the country. “I am deeply convinced that the text has structural flaws,” he said.
