The director of the National Secretariat for Children, Adolescents and Family (Senniaf), Graciela Mauad, referred this Friday to the eradication of child labor in Panama, indicating that a 2022-2024 roadmap has been drawn up to achieve this goal, the which is to end this in its entirety in 2025.
He stressed that each case is monitored and treated individually and the minor is reinserted into the educational system, while the parents are placed in a formal job, and if they need more training, they are trained by the Inadeh.
In the event that the parents do not have the economic resources to send the child to school, they are given a child labor scholarship so that they do not miss classes.
