Madrid Spain.- On Thursday night, a man tried to assassinate former Argentine president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.
The event occurred when De Kirchner got out of his car and greeted his supporters outside his home, in the Recoleta neighborhood of Buenos Aires.

“We have to wait for Científica to do the analysis. Let’s wait a bit to find out what kind of weapon it was. I do not want to make an assumption about this, things have to be talked about seriously, ”she added.
After the news spread, Cuban leader Miguel Díaz-Canel sent a message of solidarity.

The Prosecutor’s Office recently announced its request for 12 years in prison for Fernández de Kirchner for alleged corruption.
According to the prosecutor, the current vice president of Argentina had served as the “chief” of a plot of “systematic corruption” around a public work, which caused a loss of 1 billion dollars to the State.
In that sense, the vice president is accused of fraudulent administration and of having headed an illicit association together with her late husband, Néstor Kirchner, between 2003 and 2015.
