“All my solidarity with Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and the Argentine people. The Peruvian Government condemns the attack that took place today against his life. We repudiate any act of violence, ”the president wrote on his Twitter account this Thursday.

Earlier, the former Bolivian president Evo Morales also condemned the attack against Cristina Kirchnerwho was waving to a crowd at the time of the attack near his home.
“We condemn the cowardly assassination attempt against our sister Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner. All our solidarity to the vice president. The Great Homeland is with you sister. The criminal and servile right to imperialism will not pass. The free and dignified people of Argentina will defeat it”, expressed the former head of state of Bolivia on the social network.

It is worth mentioning that This event occurred in the Recoleta neighborhood after the former Argentine president returned from the Senate. The police pointed out that the alleged attacker was arrested at the intersection of Juncal and Uruguay, while the weapon was found “a few meters from the place.”
On the other hand, Argentine media indicate that the aggressor is a 35-year-old man of Brazilian nationality identified as Fernando Andres Sabag Montiel.
