Broadcast on social media (live) this Thursday (1st) the reelection candidate, Jair Bolsonaro, spoke, once again, about the resources to guarantee the payment of Emergency Aid in the amount of R$ 600 for next year.
Bolsonaro raised two possibilities for obtaining these resources, which could come in two ways. According to him, if the war between Russia and Ukraine continues, it is possible to extend the state of emergency in Brazil. This way, as was done previously, an Amendment to the Constitution (EC) may change the amount of aid.
Another possibility, cited Bolsonaro, is the taxation of profits and dividends for those who earn more than R$400,000 per month.
Jair Bolsonaro justified the fact that the increase in resources for Auxílio Brasil was not included in this year’s budget. “Auxílio Brasil is R$ 12 billion per month. So, if we put this resource in the budget now, I wouldn’t propose anything else”, he said, citing measures that would have to be withdrawn, such as the PIS/Cofins exemption for gasoline, diesel and alcohol. “That is kept zero for next year”, promised the then president.
Bolsonaro spoke again about the reduction of prices by Petrobras. He mentioned the 15% drop in jet gasoline; 10% on aviation kerosene. He commented the reduction in gasoline that goes into effect tomorrow (2) and 6% on asphalt. “We are on the way to one of the cheapest gasoline in the world. We’re getting there.”
Jair Bolsonaro also spoke about his agenda for the September 7 holiday. According to the candidate, at 9 am he will be accompanying the parade on Esplanada dos Ministérios, in Brasília. At 3 pm the meeting will be in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro. “This is a really standout event,” he said.
Earlier, Bolsonaro visited the Companhia de Entrepostos e Armazéns Gerais de São Paulo (Ceagesp). He strolled between warehouses and product trucks, greeting workers and drivers waiting to load or unload.
At night, the candidate participated in an interview at the Rede TV studios. He said that, if he is re-elected, he will reintroduce the Green and Yellow Card project, which allows hiring young people with less bureaucracy and burdens, in order to help reduce unemployment. According to him, Brazil is one of the countries in the world that is better reacting economically to the post-covid moment.
