The countdown begins so that as of this Wednesday, December 29, the eastern road of the bridge of Carrera 68 with Calle 26 is completely closed.
(They will demolish the vehicular bridge between 68 avenue and 26 street)
The closure will begin at 10 pm to give way to the activities of demolition of the deck and dismantling of the beams to carry out the planned renovation within the TransMilenio project for 68. These works will take a year.

DIVERSIONS FOR PRIVATE VEHICLE DRIVERS
– Users who circulate in the South – North and North – South directions on Av. Carrera 68, will continue to circulate through the three (3) lanes that will be enabled on the corridor between Av. 24th street and 45th street.
– Users who circulate in the South – North direction on Av. Carrera 68 and want to take Av. calle 24 al Occidente, they must continue along av. Carrera 68 al Norte, Av. Calle 26 al Oriente, Carrera 66 al Sur and Av. 24th street to the West, where they join up with their usual route.
THE CYCLISTS
Cyclists traveling in the South – North or North – South direction on the temporary bike lane must continue along the existing bike lane located on the platform on the western side of Av. Carrera 68. Between av. 24th street and av. 53rd street, the connection between the temporary bikeway and the western side bikeway will be made at the signalized intersections of av. Carrera 68 by Av. calle 24, and av. Carrera 68 by Av. 53rd street.

The passage on av. Calle 26 will be made by the existing cycle-bridge, for which it is necessary for cyclists to get off their bicycle.
THE BUS STOPS
The two (2) stops located on the southeastern side of Av. Carrera 68 by Av. Calle 26 will be relocated adjacent to the enclosure on the eastern side.
PEDESTRIANS
Pedestrians will be able to circulate normally through the infrastructure designated for them.
ALTERNATE ROUTES
– Users who circulate in the East – West direction on Av. Calle 63 and take Av. Carrera 68 to the South, you can take Av. Carrera 50 to the South.
– Users who circulate in the North – South direction on Av. Carrera 50 and take Av. calle 26 al Occidente and av. Carrera 68 to the South, you can continue along Av. Carrera 50 to the South.
– Users who circulate in the East – West direction on Av. Calle 26 and take Av. Carrera 68 to the South, you can take Av. Carrera 50 to the South.
– Users who circulate in the East – West direction on Av. 24th street and take av. Carrera 68 to the South, you can take Av. Carrera 50 to the South.
– Users who circulate in the South – North direction on Av. Carrera 68 and want to take Av. Calle 26 al Oriente, you can take Av. calle 24 al Oriente, av. Carrera 60 to the North where they join their usual route.
– Users who circulate in the North – South direction on Av. Carrera 68 can take the av. calle 63 al Occidente, av. Carrera 70 al Sur, Av. Calle 24 to the East and Carrera 68D to the South.
