The PCB candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, Sofia Manzano, presented today (1st), on her social networks, her proposals for the environment. Among other projects, the candidate highlighted the construction of a specific government policy for the recovery of burned and devastated forests.
She also proposed the creation of a public company that manages and produces environmental goods and services for the protection of the country’s biodiversity.
Manzano also defended the integration of environmental policies with industrial, energy, science and technology, agriculture, foreign trade and city policies. For the candidate, it is also important to guarantee public investment for the depollution of rivers, lakes and springs and to defend the natural resources of the biodiversity of the Amazon, Pantanal, Atlantic Forest, Cerrado, Caatinga and Pampa.
This Thursday, the candidate campaigned in Catalão (GO). She visited the Capingote family, with a communist background in the city, met with federal civil servants at the Teachers’ Association of the Federal University of Catalão, and did leafleting in Praça do Setor Universitário.
