Yesterday the deadline for officializing the pre-candidacies for the simultaneous interns ended and, thus, comply with Law No. 6501/20 on Political Financing and the Resolution of the Superior Court of Electoral Justice.
Luis Alberto Mauro, director of Electoral Consultancies, stated that the conclusion of the established period gives way to the presentation through the National Political Financing System (SINAFIP) of the Declarations of Campaign Income and Expenses (DIGC) and the Declaration of Economic Interests Linked (DIEV), by each pre-candidate made official by the Electoral Court of their political organization, from September 1 to 5.
On September 15, the Electoral Justice will publish the Campaign Income and Expenses (DIGC) and the Declaration of Linked Economic Interest (DIEV), presented by each formalized pre-candidate, through the web portal https://www. tsje.gov.py.
“At the end of the internal ones, we carry out an exhaustive control and if abnormalities are found, we inform the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic and the Secretariat for the Prevention of Money or Property Laundering (SEPRELAD), in such a way as to carry out a cross control, in order to verify that there are no irregularities throughout the electoral process”, concluded the director.
It should be noted that the Electoral Justice has officials prepared to advise the representatives of political organizations, in case of any doubt at the time of uploading the required documentation.
On the other hand, the period for uploading data from official lists and pre-candidates, with photos in the Candidature Registration System (SIC), will be from September 1 to 30, 2022.
Another important item is the presentation by the Electoral Tribunals of the political organizations of the files generated by the Candidacy Registration System (SIC), in magnetic media, before the Directorate of Information and Communication Technologies (TIC), from September 1 to October 10, 2022.
