Considering the three heads of power of the MAS in the State, President Luis Arce met yesterday, representing the Executive; the President of Deputies, Freddy Mamani, former President Evo Morales and the Unity Pact, in which they admitted that there are difficulties, but denied that there are internal blocs.
The “high political level” meeting lasted all day, during which time Morales and the leaders of the Unity Pact, as well as the representatives of the Legislative Assembly, evaluated the management of Arce and his cabinet of ministers, and finally approved the management .
Mamani said that political issues were addressed, such as the so-called “March for the homeland” that started from Caracollo (Oruro), and on management issues, they evaluated the fight against the coronavirus. The legislator admitted that there are some difficulties, however he did not elaborate.
“It has been a matter of evaluation of the Government’s management, positive until now, we have some difficulties that obviously have to be corrected or modified, and that is already a much more internal work that is going to be carried out,” he said by way of summary Mamani.
“There are no blocks”
According to a bulletin from the Ministry of the Presidency, at the meeting that was called by President Arce to bring together the Unity Pact, the leadership of the MAS (Movement Towards Socialism) and the Legislative, the government assured that there are no blocs and that the “ change process ”is unique.
“This meeting confirmed that within the political instrument there are no blocs or groups, but only one process of change and that work will be done to strengthen the social organizations of the MAS-IPSP,” says the bulletin.
By taxi and without security
The way Morales arrived at the Casa Grande del Pueblo drew attention. On the cocalero leader’s social networks, a video was published that his press staff filmed in which the former president is seen getting out of a taxi, greeting passersby and entering the Casa Grande del Pueblo for access to officials and visits.
In addition to his press staff, Morales, who always arrived at the Executive building in a helicopter and with a team of bodyguards, yesterday arrived in a taxi wearing blue jeans, sneakers, a wool sweater and with his hands in his pockets. .
After the arrival of the politician was confirmed, journalists held vigils for more than four hours waiting for his departure, a fact that did not happen at the end because the guards reported that the coca grower leader left the building through another sector evading the press. Morales returned to the site after more than a year.
We have some difficulties that must be corrected, but that will already be a much more internal work that is going to be carried out.
