“He does not move from the place, and for now, some neighbors approach him to give him some concentrate and leftover food that they have left from their houses”, this is the situation that a stray dog lives in the Los Andes neighborhood of the capital of Atlántico, after the restaurant where he used to hang around for customers to give him food, closed its doors.
The place that sold its guests typical dishes from La Guajira, did not open its doors as usual last Thursday, August 25, and since that day, the animal remains faithful to the wait for the mats of the place to rise again for him to be able to “find the food of the day”.
“We don’t know anything about the people in the restaurant or the reason for the closure,” said a neighbor in the area.

Restaurant that closed its doors.
The site is located on Carrera 21B with Calle 64, uninhabited and with the ‘furry guy’ lying on the red tiles waiting for the customers who used to give him the leftovers of their orders to arrive.
His difficult situation has been recorded by passers-by who daily see how the Creole breed dog “does not give his leg a twist” and remains in the hope of being cared for again in the place.
Some residents of the sector have reported the case of this faithful animal and while they continue to give it some affection and food, they are looking for a home for it.
Another of the inhabitants of the sector, states that the animal is very affectionate, tender and playful and that if it were not for an inconvenience in his home, he would not hesitate twice to adopt it.
“I can’t have him because I already have two dogs and I don’t have space in my home, but I’m giving the puppy food and water as long as someone can help,” said a young man who helped him.
This same person assures that the dog has lost weight and fears that it will continue to be malnourished due to lack of food, or that in the worst case, it will die of sadness for its situation.
“Whoever can do something for him would save the life of the animal,” ask some of the residents of the neighborhood.
Until now, the ‘furry’ remains day and night in the place waiting to see his “old friends” again.
