The União Brasil candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, Soraya Thronicke, defended today (31) that part of the amounts collected in the operations of the Federal Police are destined directly to the coffers of the agency.
This money will be allocated to “investment and infrastructure, psychological health of the police officer, his family, intelligence equipment, and an internal meritocracy program, where all careers should be valued according to their individual productivity”, he said today, in the event Dialogue with the Presidential candidates, organized by the Association of Federal Police Delegates (ADPF), in Brasília.
This Wednesday, in addition to the ADFP event, the candidate gave interviews to TV Brasília and Correio Brasiliense, and met with members of the Political Observatory of the Services Sector, in the federal capital.
The candidate also presented the government proposal that contemplates the implementation of a two-year term for the director general of the PF, and autonomy of resources for the body.
“You deserve to have autonomy to work. The security of working without any interference. The Federal Police is a state agency and not a government agency, you have to be independent, non-partisan and do your job”, highlighted the candidate.
According to the candidate’s government proposal, the director general of the PF can only be removed from office for misconduct or insufficient performance, which will be evaluated by an independent commission formed by a member of the police, one from the judiciary, one from the public prosecutor. and one from the executive branch.
