Jairo Vélez, is the son of the owner of the property, Consuelo Berrio, where he worked Consulate of Venezuela in Medellin, Located in the Belén-Rosales neighborhood. By Vienna Convention (regulation on diplomatic relations) no legal authority in Colombia has the power to define the situation of the property.
“Given the impossibility of paying by the Venezuelan government, we could not either, so the services are withdrawn. Almost 3 million of these are owed and there is no one to claim at this time,” he said.
Jairo Vélez, who now finds himself in a difficult economic situation, demands an answer and solutions for the situation.
