Limitation of capacity to 50% and restriction of parties in hotels, are some of the measures of the cantonal COE.
This December 27, 2021, the Cantonal COE of Guayaquil declared Alert Level 2 in the city before the omicron variant, of coronavirus, which they qualified as community.
The main port authorities issued six new measures in front of the festivities for New Year.
1. In Alert Level 2, set the capacity maximum in establishments of attention to public open or closed at 50%, Y schedule of operation until 00:00, except on January 1, 2022 until 02:00.
2. Restriction of the operation of bars and nightclubs according to the resolution of the National COE of December 21, 2021. Activity in hotels, event rooms and convention centers will be limited to corporate and family dinners without dancing.
3. The prohibition of sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages and of moderation on public roads is ratified.
4. The execution of massive public shows on premises intended for housing, such as concerts, organized parties, etc. Meetings in the private sphere must comply with biosafety measures and capacity respective. In case of non-compliance, the premises will be sanctioned and even closed.
5. The Transit and Mobility Agency (ATM), will increase the frequencies of the Metrovía in peak hours, and will assign personnel to control biosafety measures at stops
6. The settings of capacity run from today December 27, 2021 to January 16, 2022, after which the continuity of the measures according to the epidemiological evaluation of the City.
