“Given versions regarding which decisions of this Ministry involve cuts in disability areas, it is our duty to inform that the administrative modifications made due to budget under-execution in some sectors do not affect these areas,” the portfolio said on its Twitter account.
He added that “therefore, this Ministry is not responsible for the lack and delays of payments that some lenders allegeand it will be responsibility of the corresponding jurisdictions to give the explanations of the case”.
The ministry led by Sergio Massa alluded to the criticism made by providers and relatives of people with disabilities who denounced alleged cuts in the items.

For its part, the executive director of the National Agency for Disability (Andis), Fernando Galarragasaid “compliance with comprehensive care for people with disabilities is a priority for the national government“, in response to relatives and providers who carry out a camp in the Plaza de Mayo.
