Santo Domingo, RD.- President Luis Abinader will visit the provinces of Duarte and Santiago this Wednesday, August 31 and Thursday, September 1, where he will exhaust an extensive work agenda of more than 16 activities to continue the drive for the development of the North Region.
The president’s activities will begin at 10:30 am on Wednesday, with the inauguration of the network and lighting rehabilitation project for La Amarga, Aguayo and Los Rieles, in the Duarte province.
Then, he will visit the Supérate program, at Club San Martín, Barrio San Martín. And also the day of social inclusion of the program Primero Tú; of the General Directorate of Strategic and Special Projects of the Presidency (PROPEEP), at the Ercilia Pepín Lyceum, Madrigal sector.
President will start construction of the apartment project for evicted people from the Blue District
The head of state will also begin the construction of the apartment project for the evicted from the Barrio Azul, in the Hatillo sector, and will inaugurate a new Banco de Reservas office on Avenida Libertad, Rivera del Jaya sector.
In the same way, it will supervise the works of the Cañada Grande, on Libertad Avenue, and the construction works of the Fortress, the INTRANT; and the Price Stabilization Institute (INESPRE), at the entrance to Mata Larga.
Later, the ruler will hold a lunch with 400 young entrepreneurs, athletes and community members, in the assembly hall of the Ciudad Ganadera.
Likewise, it will lead a meeting with 400 women entrepreneurs, informal vendors, dealers and micro-entrepreneurs, on the roof of the Ciudad Ganadera.
In the community of El Cercado, President Abinader will inaugurate several houses and a church. Later, he will move to the Mirabel sector; where he will attend the inauguration of the XXVI Wholesale Expo Fair.
The president will end his agenda on Wednesday with the participation in the inauguration of the Superior Basketball Tournament, in the Mario Ortega roof, of the Juan Pablo Duarte complex.
Continuing his work agenda in the Duarte province, on Thursday, September 1, President Abinader will lead the event on the regulation of domestic work, in the Ciudad Ganadera assembly hall.
Santiago
The president will travel to Santiago to attend at 11:30 AM the launch of the Book “The Dominican Society of Today”; authored by Mr. Negro Veras, at the León Center.
Then, he will participate in a lunch/conference for the 32nd Anniversary of the Association of Cigar Producers of the DR, at the Hotel Gran Almirante.
Later, the president will inaugurate the La Rivera Housing Project, first stage, and will lead the start of the second stage, on Avenida Hispanoamericana.
To end his tour of the Cibao, President Abinader will begin the rehabilitation of the La Noriega Potable Water Treatment Plant l.
