“Is there anything dumber than the Boyacá bridge?”
A new controversy unleashed the current ambassador of Colombia against Venezuelawhen he was a parliamentarian, by disqualifying the Bridge of Boyaca.

His position unleashed all kinds of criticism, especially from the people of Boyacá who felt attacked, so much so that the senator himself had to go out and clarify that it was not something against the department, but rather a historical discontent.

In May of this year, Armando Benedetti attacked a senator from the Democratic Center whom he described as “brute” and who only “talks stupid”.
It was recorded on video how Benedetti went head-on against Carlos Mejía, who is also characterized by his angry statements against his opponents.

While you talk to the liver, because I don’t think it has a brain and neurons, the only thing I want to tell you is that I speak with mistakes, you always speak with silly things”.
Benedetti, 55, He was one of the first traditional politicians to join Petro’s presidential candidacy, having reached the Senate in 2006 as part of a party founded by the former president. Alvaro Uribe.
Now, Benedetti generates expectations for the future of relations between Venezuela and Colombia.
The ambassador has already met with the most important personalities of the Venezuelan government to end their stay in the neighboring country until the diplomatic offices are enabled.
