The lawyer and specialist in public management, Lesly Shica Seguil, spoke with this medium to explain the importance of the commemoration of National Defense Day (August 27), which is given in tribute to the reincorporation of Tacna in Peru, putting in relevance of the National Defense System as an integrality of actions and measures necessary to preserve our State and, in addition, with recognition in the Political Constitution of Peru, where every person is called to participate to promote and guarantee the security of the entire territory.

“It is extremely necessary – especially in the current conditions of our country – to strengthen national identity activities and take on the task of continuing to contribute to it from the space in which it corresponds to us. Some in the public, others from the private side, but not generating more divisions, but adding to the good that we can contribute from the knowledge, experience, and, above all, from the vocation of service, which allows to create progressive public value. ”, said the lawyer, who is also a Master in Strategic Intelligence from the Center for Higher National Studies (CAEN).
Likewise, he added that said actions – must be focused on a welfare state, comprehensive development, harmony between investment and progress – always based on democratic values and respect for defense at all levels of government, being imperative to prevent and Act promptly in the face of contingencies that represent threats to the country’s national security.
“All the samples that we can give as active defenders of national defense, thus preserving our homeland, are the most important thing. For this reason, the honor and glory of the Armed Forces, the National Police of Peru and all the actors that contribute to a better Peru are important,” Shica said.
