Works for Taxes will connect more than 1,000 families to electricity

The Institute for the Planning and Promotion of Energy Solutions for Non-Interconnected Areas (IPSE) reported that thanks to nine projects structured through the Works for Taxes mechanism, Nearly 1,100 families, 130 Educational Institutions and 362 ICBF Community Units will have electricity for the first time.

According to the Institute, these are projects in Caquetá, La Guajira and Putumayo structured by companies such as Grupo Nutresa, the Bogotá Energy Group and Ecopetrol.

“Today we are pleased to announce the achievement of 9 projects, which have an investment of more than $40 billion pesos, in which Grupo Nutresa, Grupo de Energia de Bogotá and Ecopetrol participate. who decided to bet on bringing the energy service to more Colombian homes in the departments of Caquetá, La Guajira and Putumayo”, said the director of IPSE, José David Insuasti.

These are projects in Caquetá, La Guajira and Putumayo structured by companies such as Grupo Nutresa, the Bogotá Energy Group and Ecopetrol.

GEB is the company with the largest number of projects in this field, with 4 that will connect schools and colleges, as well as ICBF centers. For its part, Ecopetrol will make another 3 dedicated to the connection in Putumayo and Nutresa will make 2 in Caquetá.
