The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held a meeting on Tuesday with the new Colombian ambassador to the country, Armando Benedetti.
The meeting was held at the headquarters Vice Presidency of the Republic.
“We welcomed the Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia in Venezuela @AABenedetti. We come from a sister history and our nations begin a new stage to build diplomatic relations of robust and lasting cooperation for the benefit of both peoples,” the vice president posted.
The visit of the Colombian diplomat responds to the beginning of diplomatic relations between both nations, framed in a new stage of brotherhood and peace.
Likewise, Ambassador Benedetti was received by the Vice President of the economic area, Tarek El Aissami.
It should be remembered that, this Monday, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, received the diplomatic credentials of the Colombian ambassador in Venezuela.
