The Oil Minister, Tareck El Aissami, asked the prosecutor appointed by the now-defunct Constituent Assembly, Tarek William Saab, to begin processing an international arrest warrant against the former minister and former president of PDVSA Rafael Ramírez for corruption cases.
From the headquarters of the Public Ministry, El Aissami brought evidence linking Ramírez to the alleged looting of 4,850 million dollars through a network that allowed PDVSA resources to be diverted to funds abroad.
