Bani.– Concrete is the most used product worldwide in the buildingin our country most of the projects recognize the importance of its correct application and the positive impact it generates in the economy.
For this reason, The Centro Ferretero los Constructores SA (CEFELCO) and Cementos Cibao organized the talk “Concrete Mixes”, an opportunity to update knowledge in the area.
Alejandro Cruz, lecturer engineer with more than 10 years of experience in the construction sector, addressed the correct use, trends and new practices in the handling of cement and concrete.
“For us it is extremely important to focus on developing programs that promote the technical knowledge and skills of those who work in our sector, mainly urban, environmental, industrial safety, among others,” said Andrés Sánchez, Commercial Manager of Cementos Cibao.
For his part, the president of the administrative council of CEFELCO, Fabio Garciathanked the company for its support in carrying out this activity and stressed that cement is of vital importance to them, since it is the item with the highest sales volume, compared to the more than 10,000 items they have in their inventory. .
The activity carried out at the Perelló Cultural Center was attended by more than 100 attendees, including hardware stores, engineers, architects and master builders from the southern region of the country.
