In a decision by the Minister of the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) João Otávio de Noronha, on Friday (26), as requested by the defense, Monique had her preventive detention revoked and received the right to respond in freedom to the case in which she is a defendant. for the triple murder of his 4-year-old son Henry Borel, on March 8, 2021. The release permit was signed by Judge Daniel Werneck Cotta, of the 2nd Criminal Court of the Capital, of the Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro (TJRJ). In responding to the decision of the STJ, the magistrate highlighted “that the release permit should be issued in favor of the accused, if she is not arrested for another reason”.
The judge also determined that Monique must appear at that court every time she is summoned, committing herself, “under penalty of revocation of liberty, not to leave her residence for a long period without prior authorization, as well as not to change her address.” without proper communication”.
