The Government of the City of Buenos Aires called for this Friday, August 26, a public hearing to discuss the 40% increase in the subway.
Although a date has not yet been established for the rise in the transport service, it is estimated that the measure will begin to be applied from mid-September. With the increase, the value of the ticket of the subway will go from $30 to $42.
The public hearing to define the increase in the rate of the subway It will be held virtually at 12:00 p.m. and will have as its first speaker Mauro Alabuenas, president of the state-owned company Subterráneos de Buenos Aires.
To participate in the process, former legislator María José Lubertino, Claudio Dellecarbonara, from the Union Association of Subway and Premetro Workers, and national deputy Myriam Bregman, among others, also registered.
