The political activist and pre-candidate for deputy for the free nomination, Freddy Pittí, elucidated this Monday on the past statements of the presiding magistrate of the Electoral Court, Heriberto Araúz, who declared that those who do not have money should not enter politics.
According to Pittí, who also mentioned the communique issued by the Electoral Tribunal, following Araúz’s statements, this document “was full of inconsistencies.”
“These magistrates who are in charge of the institution are doing serious damage to the institution of the Electoral Court; it is not about attacking the Court or its institutionality, it is about highlighting those mistakes that those who are in charge of the institution are making. and highlight how they are ignoring citizen voices so that this process can be improved and made more open and participatory,” he remarked.
