The National Service of Meteorology and Hydrology (Senamhi) reported that, between Monday, August 29 and Tuesday, August 30, rain of moderate intensity will be recorded in the central and northern jungle.
According to Meteorological Notice No. 168, this precipitation will be accompanied by electrical discharges and gusts of wind with speeds greater than 45 km/h. In addition, there will be a decrease in daytime temperature, due to the entry of the sixteenth cold.
For this Monday, August 29, rainfall accumulations close to 30 mm/day are expected in the central high jungle and close to 35 mm/day in the northern jungle.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, August 30, rainfall accumulations close to 30 mm/day are expected in the northern jungle.
The regions of possible affectation are Amazonas, Cajamarca, Loreto, San Martin, Huánuco, Junín and Ucayali.
Cold in the jungle
Meanwhile, between Tuesday 30 and Wednesday 31 August there will be a drop in temperature in the jungle, due to the entry of the sixteenth cold of the year. Likewise, an increase in the sensation of cold and gusts of wind is expected with speeds above 45 km/h.
The tuesday august 30 there will be minimum temperatures close to 15°C in the southern jungle and around 17°C in the central jungle.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, August 31, the minimum temperatures will be close to 15°C in the southern jungle, around 16°C in the central jungle, and close to 18°C in the northern jungle.
The regions of possible affectation are Cusco, Huánuco, Junín, Loreto, Madre de Dios, Pasco, Puno and Ucayali.
