The new ambassador of Colombia in Venezuela, Armando Benedetti, arrived this Sunday afternoon in the neighboring country to begin his duties as a diplomat for the government of President Gustavo Petro.
Upon his arrival, in fact, he announced that quite possibly before the end of this year, there would be a meeting between the presidents of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and Colombia, Gustavo Petro.
Ambassador Benedetti arrived at the Simón Bolívar airport on a charter flight from Bogotá, accompanied by his wife and part of his work team.
He was received by the Vice Minister for Latin America of the government of Nicolás Maduro, Rander Peña.
