A clean egg. President peter castle was greeted with boos and the throwing of tomatoes, bottles and eggs in the heroic city of Tacna. “Get out Castillo, get out,” was the chorus cry of several citizens.
Police could be seen covering the president with an umbrella as they cleaned his sack of the eggs thrown at him upon his arrival.
Castillo’s visit was to attend the solemn session in honor of the 93rd anniversary of the Reintegration of Tacna into Peru. However, on the streets he was not so well received.
Together with some of his ministers, Castillo presided over the hoisting ceremony of the National Pavilion from the Paseo Cívico de Tacna, after having carried out the solemn procession of the flag.
