45 years ago, on August 28, 1977, the National Radio of the Amazon emerged to take information to rural, riverside and border areas where other communication vehicles reach.

The station has the role of integrating the Amazon region with other regions of the country through information, in addition to serving as a meeting point and transmitting messages from listeners. In 45 years, the radio has collected stories of family reunions.

Lesbophobia is still linked to machismo, which corroborates distorted representations of these women, whether in the construction of stereotypes or in the representation of these stereotyped characters in literature, cinema and other media. The program Plural Stationwhich aired until 2018 on TV Brazilcelebrates the date with the discussion on the importance of lesbian protagonism in cultural production.

25th Anniversary of Princess Diana’s Death

Wednesday marks the 25th anniversary of the death of philanthropist and aristocrat Princess Diana of Wales. Lady Di, as she was called, died in a car accident at age 36, tragedy that moved the entire world and left the British people in mourning, as Brazil Agency.
