The presidential candidate for Dominican Liberation Partya (PLD), Karen Ricardo, considered that in order to have a good government, one must listen to the hearts of the people.
In that sense, he said that every day he travels through the different sectors of the capital and provinces of the country, with the aim of learning about the main needs that affect Dominicans.
“You should not continue working without really putting your ear to the heart of the people, without going to the neighborhoods, without knowing the true feelings of the neighborhoods and their specific needs,” said the presidential candidate during a meeting with community members in La Vega.
He recalled that during his performance as responsible for the Social Programs of the Presidency, he toured many provinces and sectors that allowed him to delve into the true needs of the people and penetrate the heart of the people.
He understands that the continuity of the State is necessary and elementary, after indicating that a work that began with a investment of the town’s resources, because it has assumed another management.
“There is no need that because today you were a candidate favored by the people and the other party was not, you want to say that everything that was done was bad, leave the people’s investments aside, because you are doing damage to the population,” Ricardo said.
He said that if he assumes the presidency, he will carry out a process of real transformation, focused on important and sensitive issues that would be aimed at the most vulnerable people in the country.

We will leave a great legacy, with the first female president of our country, so we will be confident”, indicated the senior leader of the PLD.
