PUNTA CANA. With the name “Innovations and improvements of the Real Estate Registry (RI)”, the authorities of the Real Estate Registry presented before the directors and partners of the Association of Builders and Developers of La Altagracia Province (ADECLA) and the Association of Hotels and Tourist Projects of the Eastern Zone (ASOLESTE), the improvements and challenges that the institution since 2020.
During a meeting that took place at the Four Points Hotel, in Punta Cana, the Real Estate Registry shared with the participants, directors and members of the unions, the comprehensive transformation process that the institution has been developing, which includes the improvement and consolidation of digital tools, standardization and automation of processes, the leveling of response times, the expansion of contact channels and the increase in operational capacity, all these initiatives aimed at responding in a timely manner to the needs of the users.
during his presentation, the general administrator of the Real Estate Registry, engineer Jhonattan Toribio Frías, highlighted that “From the Real Estate Registry, constant improvement and innovation plans have been implemented, which include the professionalization of technical personnel through management accessible to all, in an attempt to facilitate the user experience when requesting and following up on procedures and processes. ”.
To this end, RI has made the modernization of the following services available to users: electronic payment of fees with credit or debit cards, the RI mobile application, strengthening of virtual offices, remote deposit nationwide, the deposit box for procedures without assistance, the implementation of the system of consultations and virtual appearances and the consultation of the cadastral parcel holder, available from the portal www.ri.gob.do, to facilitate the due diligence of the real estate process and the simplification of requirements. Similarly, since 2021, the institution has implemented, through its social networks, an educational communication campaign about its services and processes.
In his speech, Toribio was accompanied by Mr. Ricardo Noboa, National Director of Title Registry, Surveyor Ridomil Rojas, National Director of Cadastral Surveys, and Mr. José Moisés Frías, Registrar attached to the RI in Higüey, who pondered the importance of these encounters.
For their part, the directors of the Association of Builders and Developers of La Altagracia Province (ADECLA) and the Association of Hotels and Tourist Projects of the Eastern Zone (ASOLESTE), expressed their concerns while expressing their gratitude at the opening of the institution.
Engineer Rafael Chireno, member of the ADECLA board, thanked this opportunity that the Real Estate Registry has given to those who make up this association. Likewise, he expressed his thanks to ASOLESTE for its participation and support of such an important activity for the local construction sector.
To conclude the presentation, the directors of the IR socialized the plans and projects for 2023, all with the aim of continuing to contribute to the development of the country’s real estate sector.
