In the José Gregorio Hernández parish, the process of electing heads of community of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) in Caracas began.
The Vice President of Social and Territorial Socialism, Mervin Maldonado, stated that the elections of heads of communities is an act for the strengthening of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela to carry out the Bolivarian project.
For its part, the Mayor Carmen Melendezhighlighted that five applications were made for community leaders and that in the Capital District, 2,653 street leaders will be elected.
“We are also going to elect that community chief who will remain as community organizer and then three more are elected according to the vote, the head of formation, the head of Agitation, Propaganda and Communication (APC) and electoral, as well as the head of mobilization”, reported the mayor.
Likewise, the secretary of the PSUV Youth, Grecia Colmenares, highlighted the meaning of the process, as part of the construction of the country and of a party, which is led by men and women dedicated to the revolution and by young people who join the process.
“This is the right moment so that from the grassroots, we can build the real party that we want, the one that expresses its voice and the path to follow,” he reiterated.
The Valley elects its heads of community
In the El Valle parish, five applications were made for community leaders, where the Vice President of Mobilization and Events of the red awning, Nahum Fernández, supported the day as part of the renovation of structures, which is carried out by the PSUV at the national level. .
He explained that the election process consists of nominations and voting that belong to the party. “The call has been open, we have had our own preparation for a week and on Thursday they met in all the communities, after the meetings, the propaganda day and the electoral act,” said Fernández.
